Danville, KY.  – The Converse University swim teams had a strong showing on the final day of the Centre College Speedo Midseason Invite, the women's team finished fourth with 1,294.5 points, while the men's team placed sixth overall with 1,176 points.
 
Louis Milczynski highlighted the day for the men's swim team on Sunday afternoon. The junior won the 100-yard IM event with a time of 51.79 seconds. Meanwhile on the women's side, Alison Ludeman and Milly Byrne each finished second in their respective events. Byrne finished runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:07.97, while Ludeman finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.03 seconds.
 
Women's Notes:

• Julia Beebe started out the final day of the Midseason invite with a ninth place finished in the 1650 free event. The senior clocked a time of 18:22.40.
• In the 100 yard IM event, Katie Mullen led the Valkyries with a fifth place finish (1:04.39) and Ember Hill finished seventh in the event with a time of 1:05.75.
• Milly Byrne finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:07.97, Sofiya Gobora finished fifth with a time of 2:11.60, and Ansley Young finished sixth with a time of 2:11.66.
• Alison Ludeman finished second in the 100-yard freestyle event with a time of 52.03 seconds.
• Katie Beebe finished ninth in the 200-yard butterfly event with a time of 2:18.05. Mayle Iwanski won the B-final in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:15.40.
• The 400 Freestyle Relay team of Ludeman, Byrne, Katie Beebe and Julia Beebe finished third overall with a time of 3:35.90.

 
Men's Notes:

• Henry Stockton placed third in the 1650 free event with a time of 15:58.10.
• Louis Milczynski won the 100-yard IM event with a time of 51.79 seconds and Henry Winstead finished 10^th with a time of 1:02.24.
• In the 100-yard freestyle event, Joey Lilley placed ninth with a time of 47.60 seconds, and Henry Stockton finished 10^th with a time of 47.95 seconds.
• Alexander Kuznetsov finished 10^th in the 200-yard butterfly event with a time of 2:01.37.
• The 400 freestyle relay team of Milczynski, Lilley, Keith Rogers, and Stockton finished third with a time of 3:06.12.

 
Next Up:
The swim team will be back in action on December 16^th against King University. The meet is set to start at 12:00 p.m. inside the Montgomery Student Center.
