SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University Men's and Women's Track teams competed in the Gamecock Opener at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, S.C. on Friday and Saturday.

Coach Brandon Morton had this to say "This was a great opener for us. We got conference qualifying standards and a couple school records. The most important thing was to see where we were at fitness wise. I'd say we have a solid starting point."
