GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the first time in program history, a Converse University Valkyrie has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Year as senior Khushi Kharb earned the honor as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Kharb, a senior from Sonipat, Haryana, India, also earned First-Team All-Conference honors for the third time in her career and her fourth overall All-Conference selection.

Kharb posted an 11-1 conference singles record this season, playing all 12 matches at No. 1 singles. She went 13-4 in dual-match singles this year, ending the season on a nine-match winning streak. In doubles play, Kharb posted a 9-3 record in conference action, playing all matches at No. 1 doubles with fellow senior Lais Martins.
