GREENVILLE, S.C. – The fastest 200-meter runner in the nation is also the Conference Carolinas Track Athlete of the Week as senior Devron Davis earned the honor for the second time in his career. He is also the defending Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and one of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Indoor Co-Track Athletes of the Year.

Davis, a senior from Columbia, won the 200 meters at the 49er Classic this weekend with a time of 20.84, ranking him first nationally in Division II this season. He also posted a time of 10.60 in the 100-meter dash, ranking him tied for sixth in the southeast region in the event.

Davis, along with teammates Dorian Bomar, Xavier Dixon and Isaac Gilmore, ran a time of 39.98 in the 4x100 meter relay, ranking them first nationally in the event.
