GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced their weekly Player of the Week Awards on Monday afternoon, Converse University junior lacrosse athlete
Becky Reinhard was named Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts on the field.
Reinhard helped the Valkyries to a 1-1 week with a win over Colorado State University Pueblo 15-14 on Monday afternoon and a loss to Newberry (11-9) on Saturday afternoon. In total, Reinhard finished with 12 goals on the week. The junior scored eight goals against CSU Pueblo and then scored four against the Wolves on Saturday. Her four goals against Newberry helped her break the school's all-time scoring record, Reinhard now sits with 138 career goals.
This is the second Offensive Player of the Week Award for Reinhard this season. Reinhard and the rest of the Valkyries will be back in action against Shorter tomorrow evening in Rome, Ga.
