SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Converse University head lacrosse coach Lauren Frost has announced the hiring of Max Alberici as the Valkyries new assistant lacrosse coach.
 
"We're really excited to have Max on board as our new assistant coach," Frost said. "He brings a ton of energy, passion and positivity, and love for the game. With a big freshman class coming in, he'll be a great addition as we continue to build the program, develop our players and elevate Converse Women's Lacrosse while staying true to the culture and standards we've worked hard to establish."

"I feel extremely blessed to join an athletic department, coaching staff, and a group of student-athletes that are dedicated to excellence in the classroom and on the field. Alberici was most recently a graduate assistant coach at Saint Bonaventure University. Last season, the Bonnies finished third in the Atlantic-10 Conference their highest finish in program history. While at St. Bonaventure, Alberici was the film analyst for the staff and broke down both game and practice film for athletes and coaches. Alberici is no stranger to the Palmetto State, prior to his time at St. Bonaventure he was a student manager for the Clemson Women's Lacrosse team.
 
Alberici comes from a lacrosse family, his father Joe Alberici is entering his 22^nd season as the head men's lacrosse coach at Army.
