NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced their annual Senior All-Star teams, Converse University senior attackman
Hailey Obenchain (Newburgh, Ind.) has been named to this year's squad.
Obenchain becomes just the second Valkyrie ever to earn the honor, joining Brenna Everette who was the last Valkyrie to earn the recognition back in 2023.
Obenchain concludes her career as a two-time First Team All-Conference selection, a two-time Second Team All-Conference selection, and was the 2023 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. The Hoosier State native finishes her career with seven school records: assists in a single game (9), points in a single game (16), assists in a season (51), points in a season (95), assists in a career (170), points in a career (344) and draw controls (217).
Obenchain is the only Conference Carolinas player represented on the Senior Team and she is one of just two players from South Carolina institutions to make the team. Kaia Morey from Lander University is the other player represented from a South Carolina University on the list.
The 2026 Senior All-Star game will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The Division II team will play at 3:00 p.m. following the conclusion of the Division I game at 12:30 p.m. The Division III game will play the first game of the day at 10:00 a.m. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The Senior All-Star games will not be streamed.
