GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced the annual postseason awards and All-Conference selections on Wednesday, four Converse athletes earned a spot on this year's teams.
Hailey Obenchain earned first team all-conference honors for the second time in her career. This is the fourth straight season Obenchain has appeared on the all-conference list.
Becky Reinhard earned a spot on the second team all-conference list for the second season in a row. While,
Ainsley Cua and
Zoey Jacobs both appeared on the third team all-conference list for the first time in their careers.
Obenchain once again led the team in points with 76 on season, she finished second on the team in both goals scored (47) and assists (29). Obenchain also led the team in groundballs (33) and draw controls (65). The senior also finished third on the team with 19 caused turnovers on the season.
Reinhard led the team with 69 goals this season, three assists and 72 total points. Reinhard led the team with four game-winning goals and finished 19 groundballs.
Jacobs started all 17 games this season and led the team with 40 assists on the season. The sophomore also finished third on the team in goals scored (23) and points (63). Jacobs ended the season with two game-winning goals, 22 groundballs and five caused turnovers.
Cua started 16 games this season finished with two goals, three assists and five points. Cua led the team with 20 caused turnovers and finished second with 26 groundballs and 54 draw control wins.
