GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced their weekly Player of the Week Awards on Monday afternoon, Converse University junior lacrosse athlete
Becky Reinhard was named Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts on the field.
Reinhard helped the Valkyries to a 12-10 victory over Lee on Saturday afternoon. The junior tied her career high with nine goals against the Flames. Reinhard scored the first eight goals for the Valkyries offense on Saturday and only needed 10 total shots to accumulate her nine goals. Reinhard is currently ranked No.2 nationally in total goals, trailing only Ellie Wilkins from Anderson with 13 goals.
Reinhard and the rest of the Converse lacrosse team will be back in action on Friday evening at UVA Wise.
