Mt. Pleasant, S.C. – The Converse University Golf Team finished 13^th overall at the Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate.
 
Converse finished ahead of Newberry, Edward Waters, Young Harris and Auburn Montgomery. As a team the Valkyries improved every round of the tournament, in the opening round the Valkyries shot a 334, in the second round they shot a 331 and in the final round they shot a 322. Converse averaged a 3.48 on Par 3 holes, a 4.74 on Par 4 holes, and a 5.60 on Par 5 holes. As a team the Valkyries recorded 20 total birdies and 111 pars over the three round tournament.
 
For the second straight tournament Ellie Lim led the Valkyries with rounds of 79, 83, and 79 for a three round total of 241. Lilly Bowman finished second on the team with rounds of 78, 84 and 83 for a three round score of 245.
 
Avery Smith finished third on the team with rounds of 86, 80 and 84, while Kali Lantis made the most improvement on the course throughout the three round event. Lantis' third round score of 76 was the lowest score for any Valkyrie during the tournament. Madison Cook finished fifth on the team with a three round total of 264.
