SPARTANBURG, S.C.  – The Converse tennis team fell 6-1 in their Tuesday matchup with the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears on Tuesday afternoon.

Lenoir-Rhyne swept doubles play and secured the top five courts of singles play. Senior Lais Martins won 6-2 in consecutive sets giving the Valkyries their lone point of the match.

Next Up For Converse:
The Valkyries will host the Erskine Flying Fleet on Friday, Feb. 20 for a nonconference matchup at 1 P.M.
