SPARTANBURG, S.C.  – Due to a second round of winter weather arriving in upstate South Carolina this weekend, the Converse University softball program has altered the schedule to its annual Valkyrie Classic tournament.

The schedule for Friday, Jan. 30 has been altered and can be found below. Games on Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1 are cancelled. All games will still be contested on the green pod at Tyger River Park in Duncan.

The schedule for Friday is as follows with the designated home team listed first:

• Converse vs Clark Atlanta - Noon - Field One
• Lynn vs Mars Hill - Noon - Field Four
• King vs Lynn - 2 P.M. - Field One
• Converse vs USC Beaufort - 2 P.M. - Field Four
• Mars Hill vs Clark Atlanta - 4 P.M. - Field One
• USC Beaufort vs King - 4 P.M. - Field Four
