GREENVILLE, S.C. – Behind three wins and a 0.82 weekly ERA, freshman Gracee Stucki has been named the Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week.

Stucki tossed 17.0 innings last week, including a seven-inning complete-game victory against Southern Wesleyan. The Valkyries topped the Warriors, then ranked No. 2 in Conference Carolinas KPI, 6-4 and secured their second consecutive trip to the Conference Carolinas Softball Championship.

She also made two relief appearances in Friday's doubleheader with Erskine, picking up two more victories. In game one, Stucki threw 7.0 innings of relief work and struck out five batters. She tossed another 3.0 innings in game two, striking out two more batters.

Stucki becomes the second Valkyrie to earn conference-level weekly recognition this season, joining teammate Karlie Gibson, who was named the conference's Player of the Week on March 3. She also joins program alumna Riley Lingerfelt as the only recipients of conference Pitcher of the Week honors in program history.
