GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced the annual postseason awards and All-Conference selections on Wednesday, five Converse athletes earned a spot on this year's teams.
 
Hailey Obenchain and Samantha Sparks both earned first team all-conference honors this season. This is the first time both athletes have been named to the all-conference first team in their careers. For Obenchain this is her third straight season appearing on an all-conference team, and for Sparks this is her second straight season appearing on the list.
 
Becky Reinhard and Gencie Coan both earned a spot on the all-conference second team and Izzy Eby was named to the all-conference third team. For all three this is their first appearance on an all-conference team in their career.  
 
Obenchain started all 15 games this season and led the team in goals scored (56), assists (39), and points (95). The junior reset her own program record for points in a single season and became the first player in program history to record 250 points in her career. The junior is also the first player in program history to have 100 career goals and 100 career assists.
 
Sparks once again made a big impact on the defensive side of the ball for the Valkyries this season. The junior recorded a team best 27 caused turnovers and 33 ground balls this year. Sparks is now sixth all-time in program history in caused turnovers.
 
Reinhard played in 14 games this season and finished second on the team in total goals with 52 on the season. The sophomore finished with 57 points and posted a team high 114 total shots this year. Reinhard ends her sophomore season with 112 career goals, which ranks third all-time in program history.
 
Coan played in all 15 games at the midfield position and scored 40 goals and recorded 19 assists in the process. The sophomores 59 points are the second most on the team this year and her 50 draw control wins also ranks second on the team. The Palmetto State native broke the school's career draw control record this season, and she ends the year with 174 career draw control wins.
 
Eby played in all 15 games this season and played primarily on the back line for the Valkyries. The sophomore finished the season with seven goals, eight assists, and 15 points. Eby also accumulated 19 caused turnovers, 23 ground balls and five draw control wins this year.
