The Valkyries enter the midweek after splitting their four games this weekend. The Valkyries swept Lees-McRae on Saturday but dropped both games to now-No.-2 Francis Marion.
Senior Sydney Watson leads the team offensively with a .420 batting average this season. Last week she hit .368 with two home runs, six RBIs, two runs scored and two walks.
Fellow senior Riley Lingerfelt set the single-season pitching wins record by winning both games against Lees-McRae on Saturday.
The Valkyries are looking for their first season sweep of Belmont Abbey

The Crusaders enter the midweek matchup after dropping both games to Lees-McRae today, April 15.
Among qualified hitters, sophomore Casey Laing leads the Crusaders with a .360 batting average. She has a team-high .686 slugging percentage.
Freshman Lilly Hartsell leads the Crusaders with 10 wins in 28 appearances. She has started 21 games and has a team-best 4.18 ERA.
Both teams wrap up the 2025 regular season tomorrow.
