GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced their monthly freshman of the month awards on Friday morning; Converse University freshman attackman Zoey Jacobs (Alpharetta, Ga.) has been named Freshman of the Month for her efforts on the field in the opening month of the season.

Jacobs played and started in five games for the Valkyries in the month of February. The freshman was a key contributor in the Valkyries success this past month. Jacobs tallied 4 goals, 6 assists and 10 points this past month for Converse. The freshman is currently tied for second on the team for most assists this season and ranks fifth on the team in points.

Jacobs and the rest of the Valkyries lacrosse team will be back in action this Saturday against Southern Wesleyan University. The match is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
