The Series
This will be the third all-time meeting between Converse and UVA Wise dating back to the 2023 season. UVA Wise is 2-0 all-time against the Valkyries and won the last meeting 19-9 last season.   
 
Converse Notes

• Samantha Sparks leads the team with 11 ground balls, Ainsley Cua is second on the team with 10 ground balls, while Coan and Obenchain are both third on the team with 9 ground balls each.
• Sparks leads the team with 13 caused turnovers, Cua is second on the team with 11 caused turnovers and Obenchain is third on the team with 8 caused turnovers. Obenchain also leads the team with 31 draw control wins.
• Reagan Collins has played in all four games in goal for the Valkyries this season. The senior has made 44 saves this season and has posted a .436 percent save percentage.

UVA Wise Notes

• UVA Wise is 3-0 this season and most recently is coming off a 19-5 win over Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.
• The Cavaliers have scored 48 goals this season, recorded 32 assists, made 104 shots and 83 shots on goal.
• UVA Wise has recorded 61 ground balls, forced 37 turnovers, won 43 draw controls, and they have 45 clears.
• Grace Golatt leads the team with nine goals, Noley Hiller is second on the team with seven goals, and Logen Davis is third on the team with six goals.
• Davis leads the team with eight assists, Golatt is second on the team with five assists, and Kaylea Paterson is third on the team four assists.
• Davis and Golatt are tied for the team lead with 14 points each, while Noley Hiller is third on the team with nine points.
• Alexis Hilstrom and Taryn Moreno are tied for the team lead with seven ground balls and Taylor Thompson is third on the team with six ground balls.
• Three athletes are currently tied with five caused turnovers each. Issie Brown leads the team with 12 draw control wins on the season.
• Addie Donalson and Katie Michaels have both split time in goal for the Cavaliers this season. Both goalies have made seven saves on the season.
