Women’s Tennis Sets Sights on Georgia College

Converse Notes:

The Valkyries enter Saturday having most recently dropped an exhibition match to Division I Wofford last Saturday, Feb. 8.
Now-junior Lais Martins was the sole victor in the teams' last match in March 2024. She captured a 7-5 victory in set one and an 11-9 superset victory in set three to take the Valkyries' sole point of the day.
Junior Khushi Kharb is the lone Valkyrie to win two singles matches this season. She picked up wins against Limestone and No. 9 Columbus State, both at No. 1 singles.
Converse has doubles wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

Georgia College Notes:

The Bobcats enter the match after a 6-1 victory against Emmanuel. Their would-be last match against Brenau was postponed.
Georgia College and Converse have a common opponent in Newberry College. Converse squared off with Wolves on Oct. 19 while the Bobcats did so on Feb. 5. Newberry won both matches.
The Bobcats' most successful singles courts are No. 5 and No. 6 singles. They have a 2-0 record at each court.
Freshman Rachel Black is the sole Bobcat to be undefeated in singles dual matches this season. She has wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
