GREENVILLE, S.C. – With a time of 6.70 in the 60 meter dash and a school record in the 200 meters at the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick-off, junior Dorian Bomar has been named the Conference Carolinas Track Athlete of the Week.

This is the second time Bomar has been named the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, last earning the honor nearly exactly one year ago on Dec. 10, 2024.

Bomar ranks tied for third nationally in the 60 meter dash and tops the Conference Carolinas leaderboard. He finished fifth in the seeded 200 meters with a time of 21.40, setting a school record and ranking fifth nationally in the event so far this season.

The Valkyries return to the track on Sunday, Jan. 25 for the ASICS Superblast Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
