GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced the annual Women's Golf Coaches poll and players to watch. Converse University was selected fifth overall in this year's rankings.
 
The Valkyries tallied 60 total points and finished just ahead of Barton and King. Both the Bulldogs and the Tornado both received a first place vote, despite being ranked sixth and seventh in the polls. North Greenville was next on the list in eighth place, followed by UNC Pembroke, Young Harris and Shorter. Erskine won the poll with 97 total points and eight first place votes. Mount Olive was second in this season's poll, followed by Emmanuel and Belmont Abbey.
 
Converse Senior Lizzie Madden (Blythewood, S.C.) was selected as a player to watch by the Conference Carolinas office. Madden is a three-time All-Conference selection during her career, and she is a two-time Conference Carolinas All-Tournament team selection. Elle Webber (Huntsville, Ala.) and Ellie Lim (Delaware, Ohio) were also named to the player to watch list following a great freshman season and fall season last semester.
