Women’s Lacrosse Looks To Get Back On Track Against Crusaders

The Series
This will be the 10th all-time meeting between Converse and North Greenville dating back to the 2015 season. The Crusaders hold an 8-1 lead in the series standings and have won all three games at Weisiger Stadium over that time span.  
 
Converse Notes
  • Converse is 6-7 overall this season and 2-4 Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 23-11 loss to Young Harris on Saturday day.   
  • Becky Reinhard led the team with four goals, while Karly Driscoll, Gencie Coan and Izzy Eby all scored two goals in the loss.  
  • Converse is averaging 14.9 goals per game, 8.1 assists per game, 31.6 shots per game and 23.1 shots on goal per game this season.

  • Holleran leads the team with 34 groundballs, Coan is second on the team with 24 groundballs and Reinhard is third on the team 27 groundballs. Samantha Sparks leads the team with 24 caused turnovers and Holleran leads the team with 48 draw control wins.
  • Reagan Collins has started every game in goal for the Valkyries this season and has a team best 118 saves on the season.
North Greenville Notes
  • North Greenville is 4-11 overall and 3-4 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders are coming off a 24-8 loss to Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon.
  • Emma Mayew led the team with a three goal performance against the Trojans, while Lauren Crane and Ainsley Woodham each had two goals in the loss.
  • North Greenville is averaging 9.3 goals per game this season, 3.0 assists per game, 20.7 shots per game and 13.6 shots on goal per game.
  • The Crusaders have brought in 179 ground balls, forced 71 turnovers, won 193 draw controls and a .737 clear percentage.
  • Mayew leads the team with 36 goals this season, Kylie Keen is second on the team with 28 goals and Lauren Crane is third on the team with 24 goals.
  • Keen leads the team with 9 assists, followed by Mayew with 8 assists this season. Mayew leads the team with 44 points and Keen is second with 37 points.
  • Tori Smith leads the team with 25 groundballs, Danielle LaPlume leads the team with 11 caused turnovers and Crane has a season best 49 draw control wins.
  • Smith has started 10 games in goal this season for the Crusaders and has recorded 80 saves on the year.
