The Series
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Converse and Young Harris. The two teams have not met since the 2018 season and Young Harris holds a 3-1 record against the Valkyries. The Valkyries lone win in the series came back in 2014.
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 6-6 overall this season and 2-3 Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a 21-10 loss to Emmanuel on Wednesday night.   
• Becky Reinhard led the team with four goals and Karter Lauer finished with a pair of goals to finish second on the team.

• Obenchain leads the team with 32 assists, Holleran is second on the team with 26 assists, and Eby is third on the team with 17 assists. Obenchain leads the team with 59 points, followed by Eby (51 points), Reinhard (47 points), and Coan (44 points).
• Holleran leads the team with 31 groundballs, Coan is second on the team with 24 groundballs and Reinhard is third on the team 22 groundballs. Samantha Sparks leads the team with 23 caused turnovers and Holleran leads the team with 47 draw control wins.
• Reagan Collins has started every game in goal for the Valkyries this season and has a team best 102 saves on the season.

Young Harris Notes

• Young Harris is 6-7 overall this season and 3-2 in Conference Carolinas play. The Mountain Lions are coming off a 20-8 win over Chowan on Saturday afternoon.
• Kinsley Purser led the team with four goals, Ella Hancock had a hat trick against the Hawks, and three other players multi-goal performances.
• Young Harris is averaging 14.6 goals per game this season, 7.3 assists per game, 32.1 shots per game and 22.4 shots on goal per game.
• The Mountain Lions have recorded 299 groundballs this season, forced 110 turnovers, won 217 draw controls and posted a .853 clear percentage.
• Hancock and Ashlyn Fraley both lead the team with 34 goals each. Belle Hardwick is second on the team with 34 goals and Ruthie Mandell is fourth on the team with 18 goals.
• Mandell leads the team with 25 assists, while Hancock is second on the team with 18 assists. Hancock leads the team with 52 points, followed by Hardwick with 45 points.
• Hancock and Mary Troyer both lead the team with 32 groundballs, and Troyer leads the team with 13 caused turnovers. Hancock also leads the team with 59 draw control wins.
• Young Harris has played three different goalies this season, but Abbie Gallagher leads the team with nine starts on the year. Gallagher has made 57 saves this season.
