Women’s Tennis Welcomes Bobcats to The Rose

Converse enters the match after falling 6-1 to the Erskine Flying Fleet on Thursday, March 28. Their would-be most recent match against King was rescheduled to Monday, April 8 due to rain.
Despite the Valkyries falling in their two most recent matches, sophomore Khushi Kharb has been a bright spot for the Valkyries. She took No. 1 singles from Belmont Abbey and No. 2 singles from Erskine.
Kharb, graduate student Tonya Glogowski-Watson, and sophomore Lais Martins are all tied for the most singles wins of any Valkyrie with seven.
Primarily occupied by a duo of Kharb and senior Natalie White, the Valkyries are 9-3 at No. 2 doubles.

The Bobcats enter the match on a two-match winning streak, most recently taking down Young Harris 6-1.
Sophomore Pati Vedia Sanchez has a 6-5 record at No. 1 singles. She is the only Bobcat to compete at the position.
Lees-Mcrae has a winning record on every singles court.
