No. 8 Converse Women’s Tennis Prepares No. 5 Emmanuel In First Round of Conference Carolinas Championship

Converse enters the match after ending the regular season with a 5-2 senior-day victory over Francis Marion on Saturday, April 20.
Converse captured the doubles point by winning No. 1 and No. 2 doubles against the Lions earlier this season. Graduate student Tonya Glogowski-Watson notched the Valkyries other point of the match with a 6-2 victory in consecutive sets at No. 2 singles.
Sophomore Khushi Kharb owns the most singles wins of any Valkyrie with 12. She competes primarily at No. 2 singles. Glogowski-Watson has the second-highest total with 11 singles victories on the season, competing primarily at No. 1 singles.
Kharb earned first team all-conference honors as announced by the Conference Carolinas office on Thursday afternoon. Glogowski-Watson earned third team honors.
