Gaines Wins Open Tumbling Event Championship

BRISTOL, TENN. – For the second year in a row, Krissa Gaines will bring home a tumbling championship for Converse. 

Gaines won the Open Tumbling event championship with a score of 9.55. Beating out Christina Bapple of Emmanuel and Makaila Knoerzer of Limestone. Last season, Gaines won the Aerial Tumbling Championship. 

Ceanna Brown was the runner-up in the Six-Element event with a score of 9.175. Ayanna Manning finished third overall in the Aerial Tumbling with a score of 6.700.

Converse finished third in the 450 Salto Toss with a score of 9.100 and in the Quad Tumbling with a score of 7.225.

Next Up:

Converse will wait to see if they qualify for the National Tournament later this week.
