SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University Acrobatics & Tumbling team will host Belmont Abbey on Monday night for their annual senior night meet.
The Valkyries are currently 2-5 overall this season and 3-4 in Conference Carolinas action. Meanwhile, Belmont Abbey is currently 0-5 overall and 0-5 in Conference Carolinas play.
This will be the seventh all-time meeting between Converse and Belmont Abbey dating back to the 2019 season. Converse is 4-2 all-time against the Crusaders and they are 2-1 in meets held in Spartanburg. However, last season Belmont Abbey defeated the Valkyries 229.145-218.030 on their home court.
Converse is looking to bounce back on Monday night against the Crusaders after facing two nationally ranked teams a week ago in Lander and Saint Leo. Despite the overall losses last week, the Valkyries were able to tally a season high in points against both squads.
Monday night's meet will start at 6:00 p.m. inside the Weisiger Center. Senior Day celebrations will start at the conclusion of the meet.
