Women’s Tennis Takes On Nationally-Ranked Georgia College on Sunday

Converse enters the match after extending their win streak to three matches with a 6-1 defeat of Emory & Henry on Sunday, March 3.
The Valkyries lost just a single match against the Wasps, No. 3 singles. Converse swept doubles by a combined 18-4.
Graduate student Tonya Glogowski-Watson has won two consecutive singles matches, both at the top position. She has a 3-2 record this season at No. 1 singles.
Competing primarily at No. 6 singles, sophomore Laurel Maynor has won four consecutive dual-match singles matches.

Georgia College was ranked No. 37 in the latest ITA team rankings. They most recently defeated Montevallo 4-3 on Sunday, March 3.
Junior Chiara Santoro boasts a 13-6 singles record this season and is ranked No. 68 in the first ITA singles rankings of the spring season.
The Bobcats have posted a winning record at four of the six singles courts but only one of three doubles courts.
