Converse Notes:

Converse enters Wednesday's matchup after dropping two nonconference contests to the Anderson Trojans. The Valkyries took Anderson to seven innings for the first time, doing so in both games.
Junior Riley Lingerfelt leads the Valkyries with a 3.91 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP, walks and hits per inning pitched. She has won nine games in the circle this season, far eclipsing the single-season program record of six set by Marrisa Martin, then Steadman, set during the Valkyries' first season in 2016.

The Bobcats enter the midweek matchup after splitting a Sunday doubleheader with Barton. After falling 3-1 in the opening game, Lees-McRae won game two 8-2.
Lees-McRae is led in the circle by freshman Lonna Addison. She has started 12 games and made 19 appearances. She threw a complete game in 10 of her 12 starts. Her 2.87 ERA is fifth-best in Conference Carolinas. She allows opponents a .206 batting average, fourth-best in Conference Carolinas.
