Women’s Tennis Looks Ahead to Belmont Abbey

The Valkyries enter the weekend on a two-match skid, most recently falling to Emmanuel 5-2. Converse has won five matches this season, four of which were against Division II opponents.
Competing primarily at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles, graduate student Tonya Glogowski-Watson has 7-4 record in both singles and doubles play this season. She has won three of her last four singles matches.
Senior Natalie White and sophomore Khushi Kharb are undefeated as a pair at No. 2 doubles.
Sophomore Lais Martins is holding down No. 5 singles for the Valkyries, posting a 5-1 record at the position.

Belmont Abbey Notes:

The Crusaders enter Saturday's match on a three-match win streak in which they have defeated opponents by a combined score of 20-1.
Belmont Abbey has a winning record at the bottom four singles courts. They also have a winning record at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Sophomore Hanley Riner and freshman Mackenzie McCarthy have the most singles wins on the team. Each Crusader has a 7-7 singles record this season.
Overall the Crusaders are 25-27 in doubles competition.
