DANVILLE, KY. – After the second day of racing at the Centre College Speedo Midseason Invite, the women's team sits in fourth place with 866.5 points, and the men's team is sixth with 758 points.
Milly Byrne highlighted the day for the women's team with a win in the 100-yard backstroke event. The senior clocked a time of 58.61 seconds in the event.
Henry Stockton once again highlighted the men's side of the podium with a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle event.
Women's Notes:
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Milly Byrne, Ember Hill, Ansley Young, and Alison Ludeman finished eighth overall with a time of 1:50.48.
- In the 100-yard butterfly event Ansley Young finished sixth overall with a time of 58.88 seconds.
- In the 200-yard freestyle event Ludeman and Katie Beebe finished in eighth and ninth respectively. Ludeman clocked a time of 1:58.99, while Beebe posted a time of 1:59.02.
- Milly Byrne won the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of 58.61 seconds.
- The 800-yard freestyle relay team of Sofiya Gobora, Ludeman, Katie Beebe and Julia Beebe finished fourth overall with a total time of 7:58.91.
Men's Notes:
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Joey Lilley, Tyler Leal, Alexander Kuznetsov, and Keith Rogers finished 15th overall with a time of 1:36.54.
- In the men's 400 IM event, Luigi Ballivian finished eighth overall with a time of 4:20.11.
- In the 100-yard butterfly event Louis Milczynski finished sixth overall with a time of 50.60 seconds.
- Henry Stockton finished second in the 200-yard freestyle event with a time of 1:39.96.
- Lilley finished seventh overall in the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of 51.96 seconds.
- The 800-yard freestyle team of Milczynski, Micah Lesley, Rogers and Stockton finished eighth overall with a time of 7:08.80.
