The Series
These will be the 13^th and 14^th all-time meetings between Converse and Southern Wesleyan. The Warriors are 11-1 all-time against the Valkyries and have won the past eight meetings. Last season, Southern Wesleyan swept Converse 8-5 and 8-4.
 
These will be the 13^th and 14^th all-time meetings between Converse and Barton. The Bulldogs are 12-0 all-time against the Valkyries. Last season, Barton swept Converse by scores of 8-7 and 9-1.  
 
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 14-30 overall and 5-15 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries are coming off a midweek split against North Greenville on Tuesday afternoon.
• The Valkyries took the opening game 2-1 against the Crusaders before falling in the night cap 7-0. Ryan Finazzo led the Valkyries in the first game with a 2-for-2 day at the plate.  
• As a team, Converse is currently hitting .228 on the season, posted a .277 slugging, .308 on-base percentage and a .585 ops percentage. The Valkyries have scored 149 runs, 233 hits, 24 doubles, 4 triples, 6 home runs and 123 RBI's. Converse has 108 stolen bases as a team this season.
• Karleigh Crabill leads the team with a .351 batting average, 34 hits, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homeruns, 18 RBI's and 51 total bases. Chesney Miles is second on the team with a .262 batting average, but leads the team in runs scored (23) and stolen bases (21).
• Victoria Dichio leads the pitching staff with a 4.63 ERA this season and in opponent batting average (.327). Serrah Ballard leads the team in strikeouts with 43 and innings pitched (81.2).

Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 4-36 overall this season and 2-20 in Conference Carolinas play. The Warriors are just 4-12 at home this season and they are coming off a split against North Greenville on Saturday afternoon.
• In the first game of the double header against the Crusaders, Addi Johnson led the offense with a 3-for-5 day at the plate with a pair of runs and a trio of RBI's. Emma Jo Wolfe pitched a complete game on 117 pitches and allowed just 4 earned runs.
• As a team the Warriors are currently hitting .243, posted a .341 slugging percentage, a .308 on-base percentage and a .649 ops percentage. Southern Wesleyan has scored 120 runs, collected 241 hits, 44 doubles, 4 triples, 15 homeruns and 102 RBI's.
• Talissa Cannady leads the team with a .315 batting average and in hits 39. Wolfe is second on the team with a .303 batting average and she leads the team with a pair of triples on the season. Andi Grae Wingate and Sarah Prater are tied for the team lead with 5 homeruns each and Addi Johnson has a team high 16 stolen bases.
• Despite not having won a decision in the circle this season, Wingate leads the team with a 6.11 earned run average. Wolfe leads the team in innings pitched (65.1), strikeouts (29) and opponent batting average (.363).

Barton Notes:

• Barton is 21-20 this season and is 11-9 in Conference Carolinas action. The Bulldogs are just 7-9 on the road this season and they are coming off a midweek win over North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.
• Lindsey Massengill led the team with a three-RBI day at the plate, while Elyse Brinn went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Shelby Talley picked up the win in the circle, after allowing just three hits in two innings for the Bulldogs.
• As a team Barton is hitting .344, posted a slugging percentage of .456, has an on-base percentage of .408 and has a .864 ops average. The Bulldogs have scored 257 runs, collected 384 hits, 76 doubles, 11 triples, 9 homeruns and 217 RBI's.
• Emily Bell leads the team with a .437 batting average, Makenzie Cyzick is second on the team with a .424 batting average, Lindsey Massengill is third on the team with a .420 batting average and Sloane Correa is fourth on the team with a .405 batting average.
• Branch leads the team in runs scored with 40 on the season, Cyzick leads the team with 59 total hits and is tied with Gracelyn Massey with 3 homeruns each. Massengill leads the team with 40 RBI's on the season.
• Miranda Holmes leads the team with a 5.28 earned run average, while Rilee Jones leads the team with 6 wins on the season. Holmes also leads the team in innings pitched (76.2), strikeouts (84) and opponent batting average (.242).
