The Series
These will be the 9^th and 10^th all-time meeting between Converse and Francis Marion dating back to the 2019 softball season. The Patriots are 8-0 all-time against the Valkyries and swept Converse last season 14-0 and 10-0 down in Florence, S.C.
 
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 13-27 overall and 4-12 in Conference Carolinas action this season. The Valkyries will be looking to rebound after a loss to Erskine on Wednesday afternoon.

• Victoria Dichio leads the Valkyries in the circle, pitching a total of 48.0 innings with 35 strikeouts. Rylee Summers follows with 79.2 total innings and 14 strikeouts.
• Miles leads in runs scored (22) and stolen bases (20) and Crabill leads in hits (32), home runs (2) and total bases (49).
• Converse has a .918 fielding percentage.

Francis Marion Notes:

• Francis Marion 31-9 overall and 11-5 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Patriots are 24-2 at home this season, but only 7-7 on the road this season. Francis Marion has won six straight dating back to March 29^th.
• Last time out the Patriots defeated Barton 8-0 and 8-7 on April 5^th. Makayla Cuthbertson led Francis Marion a 3-for-3 with a trio runs in the first game against Barton. In game two, Danielle Karacson went 2-3 with one run and 4 RBI's against the Bulldogs.
• Cuthbertson leads the team with a .457 batting average, Taylor Watford is second on the team with a .438 batting average and Megan Matsil is third on the team with a .434 batting average.
• Cuthbertson leads the team in runs scored (57), total hits (59), on-base percentage (.544) and stolen bases (21). Karacson leads the team with 15 doubles, 10 homeruns, 49 RBI's and 92 total bases on the season.
