The Series
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between Converse and Southern Wesleyan dating back to the 2018 season. Southern Wesleyan is 4-1 all-time against the Valkyries and they have won four straight in the series. Converse is averaging 11.4 goals per game in the series against Southern Wesleyan.    
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 7-6 overall this season and 3-2 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off an 15-14 loss against Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon.    
• Ryleigh Schaeffer led the offense with four goals in the match, Brenna Everette finished second on the team with a hat trick and Hailey Obenchain and Rhianna Warner each scored a pair of goals in the contest. Obenchain and Karter Lauer each had four assists in the loss to Emmanuel. Reagan Collins led the team with 11 saves in goal for Converse.
• Converse is averaging 13.3 goals per game this season, 7.3 assists per game, 29.8 shots per game and 24.0 shots on goal per game this year.
• The Valkyries have scored 26 free position goals this season, have recorded 217 ground balls, forced 139 turnovers, won 212 draw controls and have posted a .779 clear percentage.
• Everette currently leads the team in goals scored (38), total shots (91) and shots on goal (78). Schaeffer is second on the team with 32 goals and Obenchain is third on the team with 25 goals.  
• Obenchain is currently ranked fifth nationally and leads both the conference and the team with 39 assists on the season. The freshman also leads the team with 64 points on the year.
• Schaeffer leads the team with 29 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers, while Gencie Coan leads the team with 54 draw controls. Lauer is second on the team with 52 draw control wins on the season.
• Reagan Collins has started 12 straight games for the Valkyries in net. The sophomore is currently 7-5 on the season and has made 109 total saves.

 
Southern Wesleyan Notes

• Southern Wesleyan is 2-7 overall and 1-5 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Warriors are 2-3 at home this season but they have lost three in a row dating back to March 25^th.
• Last time out, the Warriors lost to Mount Olive 23-3 on Friday afternoon. Karla Gordon, Lauryn Esposito, and Jocelyn Cosgrove each scored a goal in the loss to the Trojans.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 7.2 goals per game this season, 3.8 assists per game this season, 18.0 shots per game and 13.5 shots on goal per game this season.
• The Warriors have scored 11 free position goals this season, recorded 161 ground balls, forced 89 turnovers, won 89 draw controls and have an .598 clear percentage.
• Esposito leads the team in goals scored (32), points (36), total shots (67), shots on goal (49) and caused turnovers (14). Cosgrove is second on the team with 14 goals scored, while Yael Echeverria leads the team with 20 assists on the season. Cosgrove also leads the team with 27 draw controls, while Caroline Lake leads the team with 32 ground balls.
