The Series
These will be the 13^th and 14^th games between Converse and Emmanuel. The Lions hold a 11-1 series advantage over the Valkyries, picking up 8-0 and 11-0 wins last season. Converse last defeated Emmanuel in 2017, winning the first game of the series 3-0.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 12-18 overall and 3-3 in Conference Carolinas action after sweeping Chowan 9-8 and 6-5 on Sunday afternoon.
• Madeline Modica and Karleigh Crabill each recorded home runs in game one with Crabill leading the team overall with three at bats, one run, two hits, and four RBIs. Modica followed with four at bats, one run, two hits, and two RBIs. Serrah Balllard pitched 5.2 innings with three strikeouts and Rylee Summers pitched 1.1 innings with one strikeout.
• Crabill led the Valkyries in game two with four at bats, two runs, two hits and one RBI. Ballard pitched 5.2 innings with two strikeouts and Summers pitched 1.1 innings.
• Overall, Crabill leads Converse with 61 at bats, 13 runs, 27 hits, six doubles, two triples, two home runs and 15 RBIs with a .443 batting average, .705 slugging percentage and a .493 on base percentage. Chesney Miles follows with 68 at bats, 19 runs, 20 hits, one double and six RBIs with a .294 batting average, .309 slugging percentage and a .400 on base percentage.
• Summers leads the Valkyries in the circle with 56.0 innings pitched, 13 strikeouts and a 4.13 ERA. Ballard follows with 60.2 innings pitched and 38 strikeouts.
• Miles leads in runs scored (19) and stolen bases (18) and Crabill leads in total bases (43).

Emmanuel Notes:

• Emmanuel is 16-14 overall and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas play after splitting with Mount Olive on Friday afternoon. The Lions picked up a 7-1 game one win and fell 4-2 to the Trojans in game two.
• Lexi Jordan leads Emmanuel overall with 85 at bats, 14 runs, 30 hits, five doubles and 10 RBIs with a .353 batting average, .412 slugging percentage and a .402 on base percentage. Ellee Varner follows with 94 at bats, 20 runs, 33 hits and five RBIs with a .351 batting average, .351 slugging percentage and a .396 on base percentage.
• Maddie Edwards is Emmanuel's leading pitcher with 91 total innings pitched, 94 strikeouts and a 2.18 ERA. Macey Kelley is next with 47.2 innings pitched, 28 strikeouts and a 4.15 ERA.
• Varner leads in runs scored (20) and stolen bases (12), Jaryn Gibson leads in RBIs (24) and Alyssa Adams leads in home runs (6) and total bases (52).
