The Series
These will be the 13^th and 14^th games between Converse and King. The Tornado holds a 12-0 series advantage over the Valkyries, sweeping the 2022 series 8-0 and 21-0.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 9-13 overall after falling 9-1 and 8-0 against No. 18 Wingate on Wednesday afternoon.
• Karleigh Crabill recorded two hits and one RBI while Chesney Miles had one run. Serrah Ballard pitched 5.2 innings with two strikeouts in game one while Rylee Summers pitched 4.2 innings in game two.
• Crabill leads the Valkyries overall with 40 at bats, nine runs, 16 hits, three doubles, one home run and six RBIs with a .400 batting average, .600 slugging percentage and a .455 on base percentage. AJ Albano follows with 40 at bats, six runs, 12 hits, one double, one triple and seven RBIs with a .300 batting average, .375 slugging percentage and a .317 on base percentage.
• Summers leads Converse in the circle, pitching a total of 39 innings with seven strikeouts and a 4.13 ERA. Ballard follows with 36.2 total innings pitched and 31 strikeouts.
• Miles leads in runs scored (13), Crabill leads in hits (16) and total bases (24) and Ayellad Howard leads in RBIs (8).

King Notes:

• King is the reigning 2022 Conference Carolinas Softball Champions.
• The Tornado is 12-11 overall after dropping a doubleheader series 7-0 and 7-6 to Nova Southeastern on Sunday afternoon.
• Jessica Campbell leads King overall with 72 at bats, 17 runs, 25 hits, one double, one triple, three home runs and 10 RBIs with a .347 batting average, .514 slugging percentage and a .427 on base percentage. Peyton Day follows with 70 at bats, eight runs, 22 hits, eight doubles and 10 RBIs with a .314 batting average, .429 slugging percentage and a .342 on base percentage.
• Savana Luper is the top Tornado pitcher, pitching 42.2 innings with 38 strikeouts and a 2.13 ERA. Madison Walter is next with 36.1 innings pitched, 24 strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA.
• Campbell leads in runs scored (17), hits (25), total bases (37) and stolen bases (5) and Carly Turner leads in RBIs (16).
