The Series
This will be the second ever meeting between Converse University and Alliance University. Alliance is formerly known as Nyack College, a team the Valkyries defeated 18-12 back in 2017. Laura Starkes had 5 goal game for the Valkyries, while Elizabeth Gabriele and Brittni Jones each had four goals in the win for Converse.
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 3-4 overall this season and 1-0 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off a 21-6 loss to UVA Wise on Saturday afternoon.
• Brenna Everette and Hailey Obenchain each had a pair of goals in the loss, while Obenchain led the team with a pair of assists.
• Converse is averaging 10.1 goals per game this season, 5.1 assists per game, 26.3 shots per game and 21.2 shots on goal per game this year.
• The Valkyries have scored 12 free position goals this season, have recorded 115 ground balls, forced 67 turnovers, won 113 draw controls and have posted a .742 clear percentage.
• Everette currently leads the team in goals scored (21), points (27), total shots (48) and shots on goal (44). O'Neill is currently second on the team in goals scored with an even 11 goals on the season.
• Obenchain is currently ranked eighth nationally and leads both the conference and the team with 17 assists on the season. Obenchain's 17 assists are the sixth most in a single season in program history. The freshman is also tied for the team lead in points this season with 27 on the year.  
• Coan leads the team in groundballs (21), caused turnovers (13) and draw control wins (30). Collins leads the team in goalie minutes played (375), goals against average (15.51), total saves (65) and save percentage (.401).

 
Alliance Notes

• Alliance is 0-4 this season and is coming off a 19-4 loss to Southern Wesleyan on Tuesday evening. Jasmyne Moore led the team with a pair of goals against the Warriors.
• Alliance has scored 11 goals this season, made 5 assists, taken 36 total shots and 9 shots on goal this season.
• Alliance has 40 groundballs, forced 13 turnovers, won 27 draw controls and post a .545 clear percentage.
• Moore leads the team with 7 goals, 7 points, free position goals (3), ground balls (13), caused turnovers (7) and draw control wins (19).
• Alexis Taylor is second on the team with 4 goals, while Kristen Bernal leads the team with 3 assists this season. British Dawson has started every game in goal for Alliance this season and has made 27 saves on 62 shots faced.
