The Series
This will be just the 4^th and 5^th games between Converse and Wingate. The Bulldogs hold a 3-0 series advantage over the Valkyries, picking up 6-1 and 7-1 wins during the 2019 season.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 9-11 overall after splitting with Columbia College on Tuesday, March 7. The Valkyries clinched game one 10-5 while dropping game two 2-1.
• In the game one win, Chesney Miles led Converse with four at bats, two runs, three hits, two RBIs and four stolen bases. AJ Albano recorded two RBIs during her one at bat while Katelynn Tuxbury had two runs, one hit and one RBI across her three at bats. Serrah Ballard hit the only home run of the game while pitching 3.2 innings with three strikeouts. Rylee Summers pitched 3.1 innings with one strikeout.
• Karleigh Crabill leads the team overall with 36 at bats, 14 hits, two doubles, one triple, one home run and five RBIs with a .389 batting average, .583 slugging percentage and a .450 on base percentage. Ayellad Howard follows with 49 at bats, 11 runs, 15 hits and eight RBIs with a .306 batting average, .306 slugging percentage and a .393 on base percentage.
• Summers leads the Valkyries in the circle, pitching a total of 34.1 innings with seven strikeouts and a 4.08 ERA. Ballard is next with 30.2 innings pitched and 26 strikeouts.
• Miles leads Converse in runs scored (12) and stolen bases (12) while Howard leads in hits (15) and Crabill leads in total bases (21).

Wingate Notes:

• Wingate is 23-6 overall and 7-1 in South Atlantic Conference play after splitting with Emory & Henry on Saturday afternoon. Emory & Henry picked up the game one 5-3 win while the Bulldogs captured the game two win 4-3.
• Wingate was ranked No. 18 in the NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches poll on Tuesday afternoon, moving up one spot from where they were last week.
• Hannah Reeves leads Wingate overall with 78 at bats, 24 runs, 35 hits, three doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 27 RBIs with a .449 batting average, .821 slugging percentage and a .538 on base percentage. Savanna Brooks follows with 83 at bats, 28 runs, 30 hits, seven doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 27 RBIs with a .361 batting average, .723 slugging percentage and a .449 on base percentage.
• Sydney Kale is the Bulldogs' leading pitcher, pitching a total of 55.1 innings with 47 strikeouts and a 2.11 ERA. Raechel Cutcher follows with 52.1 innings pitched, 67 strikeouts and a 2.92 ERA.
• Brooks leads the team in runs scored (28), Reeves leads in hits (35) and total bases (35) and Kaylee Hobgood leads in stolen bases (9).
