The Series
This will be the first time that Converse and Wesleyan College will play each other in softball.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 5-9 overall after dropping four games at the Bobcat Battle last weekend.
• Serrah Ballard scored a run on Saturday against Georgia College and Chesney Miles was brought home against Mars Hill for Converse to give the Valkyries a run against the Lions.
• Karleigh Crabill leads the team overall with 25 at-bats, five runs, nine hits and one RBI with a .360 batting average, .360 slugging percentage and a .429 on base percentage. Ayellad Howard follows with 34 at-bats, eight runs, 12 hits and five RBIs with a .353 batting average, .353 slugging percentage and a .421 on base percentage.
• Rylee Summers leads in the circle with 14 total innings pitched. Emily Ingle follows with 14 innings pitched and 13 strikeouts.
• Howard leads Converse in runs scored (8), stolen bases (7) and hits (12).

Wesleyan College Notes:

• Wesleyan College is 1-5 overall after splitting with Sewanee on Sunday. The Wolves won game one 1-0 but dropped game two 7-3.
• Katelynn McCord scored the solo run for Wesleyan College in game one while Tihana Zupanic pitched all seven innings with five strikeouts.
• Arielle Wallace leads the Wolves overall with 14 at-bats, three hits, one double and two RBIs with a .214 batting average, .214 on base percentage and a .286 slugging percentage. Zupanic follows with 14 at-bats, five hits, one double and one RBI with a .357 batting average, .400 on base percentage and a .429 slugging percentage.
• Zupanic leads in the circle, pitching 21.0 innings with 14 strikeouts. Katelyn McCord follows, pitching eight innings with three strikeouts.
