The Series
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between Converse and Coker dating back to the 2017 season. The Cobras are 3-0 all-time against the Valkyries, but Converse will look to change that on Saturday afternoon. It's been two seasons since these two teams last met as the Cobras came with a 20-8 home win over the Valkyries. This will be Coker's first trip back to Spartanburg since the 2017 season.  
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 0-1 this season and is coming off a 19-5 loss to Mars Hill on Saturday afternoon. Cassidy O'Neill and Ryleigh Schaeffer each scored a pair of goals in the loss, while Brenna Everette contributed a goal late in the contest. Hailey Obenchain led the offense with a trio of assists on the afternoon. Reagan Collins led the Valkyries defense with six saves on the afternoon.
• After one match the Valkyries are averaging 5.0 goals per game, 3.0 assists per game, 13.0 shots per game and 11.0 shots on goal per game.
• Converse has scored two goals unassisted this season and two goals from free position opportunities. The Valkyries are 2-5 in free position opportunities, they have collected 16 ground balls, forced a trio of turnovers, won nine draw controls and have .615 clear percentage this season.
• Obenchain leads the team with a trio of assists, a trio of points and a trio of shots on goal. O'Neill and Schaeffer are tied for the team lead with two goals each, while Everette is third on the team with one goal this season.
• Despite not starting, Collins leads the goalies in minutes played, shots faced and shots saved.

 
Coker Notes

• Coker is 0-2 this season with losses to Barton and Emmanuel this season. The Cobras are coming off a 15-10 loss to Emmanuel on Saturday afternoon.
• Hayley Morgan led the Cobras offense with four goals on the day, while Amariah Lawson and Abby Gross both picked up hat-tricks in the loss.
• The Cobras are averaging 10 goals per game this season, averaging 26.0 shots per game, 21.5 shots on goal per game and 3.0 assists per game.
• Morgan leads the team with 7 goals on the season, Abby Gross is second on the team with 6 goals and Lawson is third on the team with 3 goals. Abby Kellner leads the team with 11 saves on the season.
