The Series:
This will be the 10^th meeting all-time between Converse and Mount Olive dating back to the 2013 season. The Trojans hold an 8-1 record against the Valkyries and they have won eight straight over Converse. Last season, the Trojans defeated Converse 23-4 on their home turf.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 0-11 overall this season and 0-5 in Conference Carolinas play. Converse is coming off an 11-9 loss to Chowan on Wednesday afternoon.
• Libby Stevens led the offense with a three goal, two assist effort, while Rhianna Warner recorded her first career hat trick against the Hawks. Cassidy O'Neill also finished with a multi-goal performance against Chowan.
• Converse is averaging 8.2 goals per game and 23.2 shots per game this season. The Valkyries have recorded 129 total ground balls, 77 caused turnovers, 126 draw control wins and have a 61 percent clear rate on the season.
• O'Neill leads the Valkyries offense with 29 goals scored this season, Stevens is second on the team with 18 goals, Brenna Everette is third with 17 goals and Rhiaana Warner is fourth with 11 goals. Stevens leads the team with 14 assists and leads the team with 32 points, while O'Neill is close behind with 31 points this season.   
• Ciriaca Petitto leads the team in ground balls (34) and caused turnovers (14). Madalynn Brunner has started all but one game for the Valkyries in goal this season and has made 101 saves. Freshman goalkeeper Reagan Collins made her first career start against Chowan on Wednesday and last weekend posted a 17 save performance against Newberry.

Mount Olive Notes:

• Mount Olive is 9-3 overall and 6-0 in Conference Carolina action this season. The Trojans have won seven straight games and they are receiving votes in the national poll.
• Last time out the Trojans defeated Erskine 26-4 on their home field. Mount Olive put the game out of reach with a 14-2 opening quarter against the Flying Fleet. Ali Davis and Shaelyn Yermal both recorded hat tricks in the win over Erskine.
• The Trojans are averaging 16.5 goals per game and 33 shots per contest this season. Mount Olive has recorded 222 ground balls, caused 110 turnovers, won 189 draw controls and has an 87 percent clear rate.
• Eight different players have reached double-figures in the scoring column for the Trojans. Meagan Maxwell (14), Ali Davis (32), Meaghan Michaud (30), Bria Hamilton (28), Morgan Paige (21), Zoe Dougherty (11), Shaelyn Yermal (14) and Margot Coomes (10). Maxwell leads the team in assists (29) and total points (43).
• Chaija Olsson leads the team with 24 ground balls, 21 caused turnovers and is second on the team with 41 draw control wins. Hamilton leads the team with 44 draw control wins on the season. Claire Hagen has started nearly every game in goal for the Trojans this season and has made 58 saves on 176 shots faced.
