The Series:
This will be the eighth meeting between Converse and Emmanuel dating back to the 2013 season. The Valkyries are 5-2 all-time against the Lions and won the last meeting 18-9. However, the Valkyries last road trip to Franklin Springs resulted in a 20-8 loss to the Lions.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 1-14 overall this season and 0-8 in Conference Carolinas play. Converse is coming off a 21-2 loss to North Greenville on Tuesday afternoon.  
• Both Haleigh McSwain and Taylor Goldfuss scored goals against the Crusaders, while Reagan Collins recorded a 14 save performance.
• Converse is averaging 8.2 goals per game and 23.8 shots per game this season. The Valkyries have recorded 173 total ground balls, 111 caused turnovers, 162 draw control wins and have a 62 percent clear rate on the season.
• O'Neill leads the Valkyries offense with 34 goals scored this season, Stevens is second on the team with 25 goals, Brenna Everette is third with 22 goals and Rhiaana Warner is fourth with 17 goals. Stevens leads the team with 18 assists and leads the team with 43 points, while O'Neill is close behind with 38 points this season.  
• Ciriaca Petitto leads the team in ground balls (42) and caused turnovers (18). Madalynn Brunner has started all but three games for the Valkyries in goal this season and has made 101 saves. Freshman goalkeeper Reagan Collins made her fourth career start against North Greenville on Tuesday.

Emmanuel Notes:

• Emmanuel is 8-6 overall and 4-4 in Conference Carolinas action. The Lions are 2-2 at home this season but they are coming off a 29-9 loss to Mount Olive on Monday afternoon.
• Justine Dorelas led the team with four goals scored against the Trojans, while Mickaela Davis produced a hat trick in the loss. Bailie Garland scored a pair of goals to round out the Lions scoring against Mount Olive.
• Emmanuel is averaging 13.7 goals per game and 29.8 shots per contest this season. The Lions have recorded 198 ground balls, caused 81 turnovers, won 254 draw controls and have a 74 percent clear rate.
• Five players have scored at least 15 goals for the Lions this season, Dorelas (68 goals), Garland (40 goals), Anna Gill (32 goals), Davis (26 goals) and Christine Nguyen (15 goals).
• Dorelas is tied for the team lead in assists (10), but leads the team in points (78), total shots (115), ground balls (35), caused turnovers (16) and draw control wins (117).
