These games will be the 11

th times that Converse and Mount Olive have played each other. The Trojans hold a 9-1 record over the Valkyries with their last wins coming in the 2021 season where they swept the series with scores of 14-0 and 13-3. The Valkyries split the series in the 2019 season when they won 3-2.
Converse Notes:
- The Valkyries are 1-23 this season after most recently splitting a series with Brevard on Sunday afternoon. Converse took game one 15-1, but were unsuccessful in the second game when the Tornados ran away with a 9-1 win. In the split series, three Valkyries had homeruns, Serrah Ballard, Emily Ingle and Maggie Griffis, and Griffis picked up her first win in the circle this year, pitching a total of 6.1 innings with two strikeouts.
- Overall, Faith Hauser leads the team with a .317 batting average with 41 at-bats, seven runs, 13 hits, two doubles and five RBI's. Ryan Finazzo follows her with a .246 batting average, 61 at-bats, eight runs, 15 hits, five doubles, one homerun and seven RBI's.
- Ballard is Converse's leading pitcher with 62.2 total innings pitched and 21 strikeouts. Belle Roper follows with 14 innings pitched and six strikeouts.
Mount Olive Notes:
- The Trojans are 19-5 overall and 2-0 in Conference Carolinas play after most recently winning a doubleheader series against Shaw University on Sunday afternoon. Mount Olive won by scores of 19-6 and 15-0.
- Cassandra Lassister leads the team with a .467 batting average, 75 at-bats, 22 runs, 35 hits, eight doubles, one triple, three homeruns and 20 RBI's. Kylie Emanuele follows with a .458 betting average, 72 at-bats, 19 runs, 33 hits, eight doubles, and leads the team in homeruns (9) and RBI's (36).
- The Trojans leading pitcher is Hannah Killough. Killough has pitched 77 innings, producing 105 strikeouts. Lauren King follows with 60 total innings pitched with 67 strikeouts.
