The Series:
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Converse and Southern Wesleyan dating back to the 2018 season. The Warriors hold a 3-1 lead in the series and have won three consecutive matchups. Last season, Southern Wesleyan defeated Converse 22-3 in Central, S.C., however, the Warriors and the Valkyries have split the last two meetings in Spartanburg.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 0-4 overall this season and they are coming off a 21-6 road loss to Catawba College on Wednesday evening.
• Converse is averaging 10.0 goals per game and 26.3 shots per game this season. The Valkyries have recorded 59 total ground balls, 24 caused turnovers, 51 draw control wins and have a 66 percent clear rate on the season.
• Brenna Everette currently leads the Valkyrie offense in goals scored (12), total shots (37), shots on goal (25) and 22 draw control wins. Everette is tied for the team lead in total points with 15 on the season.
• Libby Stevens is tied with Everette for total points with 15 on the season, but leads the team in total assists (8) and is third on the team with 7 goals scored. Cassidy O'Neill is second on the team with 9 goals scored on the year.
• Ciriaca Petitto leads the team in ground balls (20) and caused turnovers (7). Madalynn Brunner has started all four games in goal for the Valkyries this season, Brunner has made 45 saves on 127 shots faced.

Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 2-6 overall this season and 1-1 in Conference Carolinas action. The Warriors are 0-4 in road games this year and they are coming off a 20-2 loss to Mount Olive on Thursday afternoon.
• The Warriors have scored 59 total goals this season and they average 19.6 shots per game. Southern Wesleyan has recorded 137 ground balls, forced 92 turnovers, have won 91 draw controls and have 59 percent clear rate on the season.
