The Series:
This will be the second meeting between Converse and Shorter, the hawks and the Valkyries last met in 2013. Shorter got the better of the Valkyries that day with a 10-8 victory.  
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 0-1 this season following a 14-13 loss to Montreat on Saturday afternoon.
• Libby Stevens led the team in goals (5), assists (4) and points (9). Brenna Everette finished with 4 goals and 5 total points, and led the team in total shots (9), shots on goal (7) and draw controls (10).
• Ciriaca Petitto led the team with 6 caused turnovers on the defensive side of the ball. Starting goalkeeper Madalynn Brunner played all 60 minutes and finished with 16 saves against Montreat on Saturday.

• The Hawks are coming off a 14-15 loss to Georgetown (Ky.) on Monday afternoon.
