SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University women's swimming team will host their home opener tomorrow morning at the Montgomery Student Center.
 
The Valkyries will face off against Catawba College and St. Andrews University for the first tri-meet of the season. Converse is coming off a ninth-place finish in the King Invitational last weekend and they finished ahead of the host school in the standings. The 400-yard free relay team ended the weekend on a high note with a seventh-place finish.
 
The Valkyries also had top-15 finishes individually in the 200-yard fly, 100-yard fly and the 1650-free events a week ago.
 
The meet will start at 11:00 a.m. in the Montgomery Student Center on the campus of Converse University.
