SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse College tennis team opened Conference Carolinas play with a dominating 6-1 win over Lees-McRae College on Saturday afternoon. Steffi Kong defeated Sandy Allen in straight sets during the No. 1 singles flight, clinching the Valkyries third consecutive win overall.
