GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Converse College (6-4, 0-1 CC) tennis team opened up Conference Carolinas action with a 5-2 defeat at Limestone College (2-5, 1-0 CC) on Tuesday afternoon. Steffi Kong picked up a solid win at the No. 1 singles after defeating Laura Aholu in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 10-8), while Maria Belen Vendrell took down Felicitas Picinini (6-3, 6-1) at the No. 3 singles.
