BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Converse College (8-9, 3-5 CC) tennis team improved its conference stature with a dominant 9-0 win over King University (0-12, 0-7 CC) on Tuesday afternoon. Every Valkyrie won in straight sets while Morgan Hildebrandt clinched for the Purple and Gold with a 6-0, 6-1 performance over Morgan Buchanan for her third straight win and 11th on the season.
Steffi Kong picked up her first conference win at the No. 1 singles flight, while Taylor Parrott and Alex Schlesener captured their team-leading 9th doubles win with an 8-3 victory at the No. 2 doubles.
