SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Valkyries tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision against Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at the Converse tennis complex. Converse (5-6, 2-2 CC) was able to take No. 3 doubles and No. 5 singles against the Warriors (4-6, 1-2 CC).
Morgan Hildebrandt teamed up with Abby Roth to take down SWU's Jessica Sparks and Caitlynn Nixon, 8-2. Hildebrandt then turned around and defeated Nixon in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) during singles action.
