Valkyries Pick Up Conference Win Over North Greenville

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Alex Schlesener picked up a No. 4 singles win as well as No. 2 doubles to help lead the Converse (5-5, 2-1 CC) tennis team to a 5-4 win over North Greenville (1-6, 0-2 CC) on Wednesday afternoon at the Converse tennis complex. Schlesener dominated her singles opponent (6-1, 6-0) before teaming with Taylor Parrott to take down the Crusaders' No. 2 doubles, 8-4.

Morgan Hildebrandt earned the clincher for the Purple and Gold in her No. 5 singles against Merit Morgan, cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 win.
